Kylie Schneider

Kylie grew up in Hampton Roads and attended Old Dominion University, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology. She then attended the Veterinary Technology Program at Blue Ridge Community College, from which she graduated with her associate degree and obtained her veterinary technician license in 2018. Kylie returned to The COVE as a LVT in our emergency and intensive care departments, and during this time, discovered her true love for anesthesia and pain management. In 2019, she transitioned to our anesthesia department and has since enjoyed being able to provide pain prevention and relief to our patients, and in turn, instilling confidence in our pet parents that their beloved companion is well cared for before, during, and after their anesthetic procedure. She has more recently taken it a step further by providing training to our team and local veterinary hospitals to share her anesthesia knowledge and passion. In 2023, Kylie was promoted to Anesthesia Team Lead and has been venterously leading the department.

In her free time, Kylie enjoys being outdoors and walking trails around the area with her husband, daughter, and four-legged fur child, Tally.
