Danielle Owens
Danielle became a licensed veterinary technician after graduating from North Virginia Community College in 2014 with an AS in Veterinary Technology. In 2020 she became a veterinary technician specialist (VTS) in dentistry as a member of the Academy of Veterinary Dental Technicians. Danielle is a member of the credentials committee with the AVDT, is a mentor to LVTs tracking to obtain their future VTS certification, and provides both lecture and hands-on veterinary dentistry training for LVTs and the veterinary community. Danielle joined the COVE in 2016 and has transitioned from a dentistry LVT, to the Dentistry Team Lead, and now uses her expertise to serve both pet parents and our referring community as the Referral Coordinator Team Lead. Outside of work her interests include scuba diving, skiing, kayaking, and hiking with her husband. She and her husband have two fur children: Bella (Yorkie-poo) and Remy (Husky).
