As we enter the fall season, our team here at The COVE, reflects on our unprecedented summer. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, including providing socially distanced care and curbside services, our staff has worked tirelessly to continue to provide compassionate, progressive, and advanced care to all pet patients that entered our hospital. Therefore, we are proud to share that we have treated more pets than in previous summers.

The COVE is grateful to all of you who have been understanding, patient, kind, and appreciative during these changes. With that said, we wanted to highlight a few of the heartfelt and inspiring stories our clients have shared online over the past few months.

An Emergency Visit with Ease

COVE pet patient Dax after emergency services

I had to bring my Dax in after he ingested a poison. The staff was quick, kind, and comforting, and they answered all my questions. The services were also affordable. I’d never had to take a pet to the emergency room, so I had no idea what to expect as far as fees go. I was a wreck by the time I got him there, but they were awesome and had him in and out in no time. It was easy to fill the paperwork out on my phone from the parking lot, and we just stayed in the comfort of our car until they came out to get him. I hope that we never need emergency pet care again, but if I do, I will be going back to The COVE. Thanks to all the staff there for taking care of my baby. – Sharon H.

Providing Peace of Mind

Nobody wants to take their beloved pet to an animal hospital. But, if you must, I highly recommend The COVE. From the beginning, the staff here was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. Dr. Chris, Tiffany, and Emily were all wonderful. They explained everything thoroughly and kept us updated. Thank you so much. There is peace of mind in the knowledge that The COVE is open 24/7—much appreciated. – Kim W.

Cardiology Care with Heart

My six-pound Chihuahua, Zoe, is being seen by a board-certified veterinary cardiologist, Dr. Merrilee Small. After Zoe’s treatment and diagnosis, the staff has called to check in many times! If I have any questions, I call, and if I don’t speak to someone at the time of the call, one of the doctor’s assistants will call me back in no time. The initial and follow up care for my sweet Zoe has been outstanding! The staff took excellent care of her during her stay there as well! I whole-heartedly recommend The COVE. ❤️ – Betty B.

Amazing Dentistry Care

Absolutely amazing care. Worth every minute of the hour drive there and more than worth the cost. Thank you so much for taking such fantastic care of my pet. Dr. Colleen Fox (practiced dedicated to dentistry) is amazing. – Danyel T.

When Your Family Veterinarian Isn’t Available – Count on The COVE

COVE Pet patient Baby Bay

We noticed a lump on Baby Bay and tried making an appointment with our family veterinarian, but he was booked for two weeks. I called The COVE, and they took care of her right away. She got bit by a spider and had a fever of 104. The emergency veterinary team promptly drained and removed the sack. Two weeks later, after antibiotics and ointment, her stitches are out, and she is feeling so much better. Thank you for taking care of our baby! 💜🐾   – Heather M.

Emergency Care You Can Trust – 24/7

I’ve had to bring two of my fur babies into The COVE for emergency care, but the experience has been excellent each time. They are incredibly skilled and attentive and care about their work. Their veterinary team has a genuine way of easing your worries, even if just a little, and they are always willing to answer questions in depth. I’m always recommending them to everyone I know. I feel thankful to have The COVE so close to me and feel completely comfortable leaving my four-legged kids in their capable hands. Should an emergency arise again, I know exactly where to go. – Holli R.

Thank you again to our pet families, referring veterinarians, and dedicated team members for your support and compassion during these challenging times. We are always delighted and eager to hear from our pet families.
