Our experience at The COVE was incredible. They were able to see my dog right away, gave a good diagnosis, and all the medication and information we needed to keep my dog safe until we could get a follow-up with his primary vet. They even called to follow up multiple times after our visit to check in and see if they could do anything extra for us. The team seems to truly care, and I’m so glad we went here for our emergency

We had an emergency on July 4th (when lots of locations were closed), and the staff did an incredible job. They were very personable, listened very well to our dog’s symptoms, and provided their best opinion for his best interest. Even with our reservations about hospitalizing him overnight, they were very understanding and tried to create a plan that we were most comfortable with. Savannah at the front desk and Alyssa were amazing (along with the doctor whose name I can’t remember.) Thank you so much for taking the time to care for Samson during such a busy and hectic day!!

My normal vet hospital was unable to see our 13-year-old golden retriever when she was very sick. After calling five other vet clinics without success, The Cove was able to see her that morning. After the examination, the vet told us that she had a large ruptured mass in her belly that was bleeding into her abdomen. My family and I were devastated, even though we knew she was getting older. We made the decision to humanely euthanize her even though it broke our hearts. The staff and doctor were phenomenal and supported us the entire time. We were never pressured to make a decision and were given all the time we needed with her before and after she passed. I had never heard of this place since we live in Chesapeake (Great Bridge), but my family and I are sincerely grateful for the care that our golden and family received.
