At The COVE, we believe no pet should be denied lifesaving veterinary care simply because of financial hardship. That’s why we created the Healing Animals Together (HAT) Fund — a charitable initiative that allows us to offer financial assistance for critically ill or injured animals who have a strong chance of recovery but whose families may not be able to afford treatment.
With your support, we can prevent the heartbreaking — and preventable — euthanasia of pets who could otherwise go on to live healthy, happy lives.
100% of Your Donation Goes to Pets in Need
The COVE’s HAT Fund is managed through the Veterinary Care Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This means:
- Your donation is tax-deductible
- Every dollar you give goes directly toward veterinary care for pets in need
- No administrative fees are taken from your contribution
As a token of our gratitude, donors who give $25 or more will receive a small gift from The COVE.

The Veterinary Care Foundation exists to support veterinary practices in delivering charitable care to animals in need. Unlike most organizations, 100% of every donation goes directly to veterinary services — no administrative costs are deducted.
The Foundation is sustained through membership dues paid by veterinarians, allowing your generosity to have the greatest possible impact.
